ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ। ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦੇ ਅਸਤੀਫੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਉਥਲ-ਪੁਥਲ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਝਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੀਡਰ ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਰੁਖ ਅਪਨਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਹਨ। ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਬੱਸ ਕਰੋ।
ਆਪਣੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਬੱਸ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਦੀ ਗਰਿਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਕਮਜੋਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਰਾਮ ਲਗਾਓ। AG ਅਤੇ DGP ਦੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ‘ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਰੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਹੈ।”
Enough is enough. Put an end to attempts to undermine the authority of CM time and again. Aspersions being cast on selection of AG & DGP is actually questioning the integrity/competence of CM and Home Minister to deliver results. It’s time to put the foot down and clear the air.

ਇਹ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਮੈਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ- ਸੁਨੀਲ ਜਾਖੜ
ਸੁਨੀਲ ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਤਲਖ ਤੇਵਰ ਅਪਣਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦੇ ਅਸਤੀਫੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, “ਇਹ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਮੈਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪੂਰੇ ਘਟਨਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਹਾਈਕਮਾਂਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ‘ਤੇ ਜਤਾਏ ਗਏ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਸਫਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ।”
It’s just not cricket ! What stands compromised in this entire ‘episode’ is the faith reposed in the (outgoing ?) PCC President by the Congress Leadership. No amount of grand standing can justify this breach of trust placing his benefactors in a peculiar predicament.
