ਬਿਓਰੋ। ਚੀਫ ਆਫ ਡਿਫੈਂਸ ਸਟਾਫ ਜਨਰਲ ਬਿਪਿਨ ਰਾਵਤ ਦਾ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ਦੇ ਕੁੰਨੂਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ਹਾਦਸੇ ‘ਚ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ CDS ਰਾਵਤ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਣੇ ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ‘ਚ ਸਵਾਰ 14 ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 13 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਹਾਦਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਹੈ।

ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਰਾਮਨਾਥ ਕੋਵਿੰਦ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਨਰਲ ਬਿਪਿਨ ਰਾਵਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਮਧੁਲਿਕਾ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹਾਂ। ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ‘ਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਆ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮਾਤਭੂਮੀ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ 4 ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਸਵਾਰਥ ਸੇਵਾ ਅਸਧਾਰਨ ਵੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹਿਤ ਸੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ।
